Masking in Flash

Classic Motion Guide

I learned how to create a classic motion guide by:
1. Inserting a movie slip to the stage
2. Add a motion guide
3. Draw a path and connect the center dot of the movie clip to the starting point of your path
4. Inserting a frame on the Guide Car layer and a keyframe on the Car layer.
5. Making the Car layer a classic tween and drag your movie clip to the other side of your path
6. Rotate the object with the Free Transform tool so it points the direction you want it to towards the end of the tween.
7. Then clicked Orient to Path.
8. And finally created a background.

Tracing a Bitmap Image

First I imported a bitmap image into Flash. Then used Trace Bitmap to convert the image into vector art. Next i scaled the vector art and added gradient backgrounds. And finally exported the image as a png file.

What i learned in animation class is...

For this project, i learned how to first import a bitmap into flash. Then how to convert the image into a movie clip, and learned how to rotate the image, position it and change the alpha so the image could fade in or out.
